Addressing the COVID-19 Health Crisis
As we work together to face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), DigAlert remains open during normal business hours (M-F 6AM-7PM excluding holidays) to perform the important public safety work of processing locate requests and communicating these requests to the appropriate member utility companies and/or their locating companies. DigAlert personnel do not mark or locate any underground lines.
While the worldwide situation regarding COVID-19 is changing every day, the health and safety of our staff, our industry partners and the citizens of Southern California has been and always will be our number one priority. We have taken steps to maintain safety to our employees and continue operations as normal for the community. All DigAlert staff is now working remotely from home.

We strongly encourage you to submit your requests online at no cost using DigAlert Direct by clicking https://direct.digalert.org or by downloading the DigAlert mobile app from your devices app store.
Our call center is currently staffed with agents to process locate requests as well by dialing 8-1-1, but longer-than-usual hold times may occur, especially during peak times.
External Activities and Meetings
Out of an abundance of caution and in keeping with the recommendations from state and county officials, all external activities, including meetings and presentations, are postponed at this time. We are continuously monitoring the situation and will resume activities and meetings when it is safe to do so. DigAlert is available for virtual meetings/presentations if there is a need.
